BukawaSwim draws from the spirit of the French Riviera.
Muted terracotta, olive greens, and Mediterranean blues reflect the landscapes, architecture, and rhythm of coastal life.
Our first collection pays homage to Le Beauvallon, one of the last remaining Belle Époque palaces along the Riviera.
Thoughtful Materials
We use ECONYL® regenerated nylon and REPREVE® recycled fibres for our swimwear, transforming waste such as fishing nets and plastic bottles into high-performance pieces.
Across our beachwear and lifestyle collections, we prioritise natural materials such as cotton and linen, chosen for their breathability, durability, and lower impact.
Every material is carefully considered to ensure quality, longevity, and a more responsible approach to design.
Responsible Production
Our swimwear is produced in Bali in a facility powered in part by solar energy, supporting a more conscious approach to manufacturing.
The factory exceeds standard labour practices, providing fair wages, healthcare, and ongoing training, while supporting initiatives that benefit local communities and women’s education.
Across our beachwear collection, we prioritise certified materials and responsible sourcing, working with partners who meet recognised standards such as OEKO-TEX®, GOTS and SEDEX.

We work with trusted partners to ensure traceability and responsible production at every stage.
A percentage of our swimwear supports ocean clean-up initiatives and artisanal communities.
Every piece is created with consideration for both the environment and the people behind it.
